KPI has launched a new product: PP H031 polypropylene.
Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc LLP (KPI) has started production of a new grade of polypropylene at the gas chemical complex. The type of polypropylene, called PP H031 BF/7, is designed for the production of biaxial film. Polypropylene grade PP H031 BF/7 is used in European countries and in Kazakhstan in the production of plastic film packaging for food and everyday products, labels and tape.
BOPP films have high strength and elasticity, are resistant to various aggressive environments, inert and safe for humans. Also PP H031 BF/7 grade is used to produce films for lamination of printed images, films for stationery and packaging of flowers. Specialists note that the new grade has undergone a complex process and is of high quality.
“The PP H031 brand we produce is in great demand both at home and abroad. It is dense, of high quality. The products will fully compensate the needs of local companies and solve the dependence on imports. We would like to emphasize the great contribution of production workers in the development of a new brand of polypropylene”, – says Bolat Abdualiev, Head of Production.
During the week the complex in Atyrau produced 1,000 tons of the new grade. It should be noted that the plant has previously produced PP H 030, PP H 120 grades. Today the finished products except Kazakhstan are supplied to Turkey, China, Europe and Russia.
