Fire and tactical exercises were held at ANPZ
At Atyrau Oil Refinery in late October successfully held fire-tactical exercises (FTE) to eliminate a conditional fire at the Automated Tactical Loading Unit (ATLU) of the oil refinery in accordance with the training program for personnel of firefighting units.
According to the exercise scenario, at 15:00 there was a depressurization of the AI-92 gasoline collector with spillage and subsequent ignition, which occurred due to a spark during shunting operations on the railway tracks.
The firefighting units that arrived at the scene immediately started extinguishing the fire and rescuing people. At 15 hours 44 minutes the fire was localized, 5 minutes later it was completely eliminated.
Algorithms of actions of the plant personnel, operational staff and personnel of duty shifts were practiced during the PTU.
To eliminate the emergency situation involved 52 employees of personnel of the Polar Division of LLP “Semser – Өrt sөndirushi”, 30 employees of the Emergency Situations Department of Atyrau region and 18 units of special equipment.
